Incarcerated Son Tells Mom to Go to IslamInSpanish
New #shahada may seem like a common occurrence at #IslamInSpanish but we see it as a major blessing each time. It doesn't get old! Witness the tears of joy for a mom who's son invited her to a Spanish speaking masjid. 😀
Sister Maria has a son who is a #convert to #Islam in prison and had been discussing the faith with her, which sparked the sister to visit and learn more for herself. The problem was that there was no one she could comfortably talk to about Islam in the Spanish language.
For 3 or 4 years she was in this predicament until one night she work up restless at 3:00am and #Google searched for a nearby Spanish speaking mosque and found the IslamInSpanish #Dallas Outreach Center.
After making a phone call to the #OutreachCenter, she visited and shortly thereafter took her Shahada which we captured on video!
Please make dua for Maria and her son as it is a beautiful blessing that through tough circumstances they found the light of Islam.

Los nuevos shahadahs pueden parecer una ocurrencia común en IslamInSpanish, pero lo vemos como una gran bendición cada vez. ¡No envejece! Sea testigo de las lágrimas de alegría por una madre cuyo hijo la invitó a una mezquita hispanohablante.
La hermana María tiene un hijo que se convirtió al Islam en prisión y había estado discutiendo la fe con ella, lo que provocó que la hermana la visitara y aprendiera más por sí misma. El problema era que no había nadie con quien pudiera hablar cómodamente sobre el Islam en español.
Durante 3 o 4 años estuvo en esta situación hasta que una noche trabajó inquieta a las 3:00 a.m. y Google buscó una mezquita de habla hispana cercana y encontró el Centro de Extensión IslamInSpanish Dallas.
Después de hacer una llamada telefónica al Centro de Alcance, ella visitó y poco después tomó su Shahada que capturamos en video.
