IslamInSpanish provides a distinct counseling service that serves the Muslim convert community, individuals, families, couples, youth, beginner Imams, and youth directors with relevant and affordable counseling care based on 40+ years of experience. 

Our purpose in offering counseling is to see lives transformed by strengthening faith and assisting through the obstacles of life.

IslamInSpanish Counseling provides a safe and confidential setting for you as we support you through your healing, transition or growth process. We are focused on providing care and counsel rooted in Islamic principles.

We counsel converts at no cost to them. We provide them with tools based on the principles of our faith on how to navigate and transition in their different stages as a new Muslim. These tools are given through educational programing, 1on1 mentoring sessions and having social programs that assist their non Muslim family members to integrate with their Muslim relative in an organic fashion.

Our advisor(s) have decades worth of experience in assisting the convert in their education of faith based knowledge, marital rights , navigating the Muslim community & advising them through possible challenges they may face with their non Muslim family and friends.

Pre-Marital / Marital Counseling

Premarital Counseling sessions are for individuals/couples embarking on their journey to complete half of their faith by informing them of core principles in our traditions that keeps a marriage healthy & firm.

Marital Counseling sessions are for married couples based on spiritual advice based from the Quran and Sunnah to assist in working out challenges that one may face throughout a marriage.

Advisors to Youth / 1st Generation Young Professionals

We work with youth who are struggling with identity issues, relationship challenges, and those who are struggling with their faith using guiding principles and leadership skills from the Quran and Sunnah.

We also offer 1st generation young professionals with relevant advice from our Islamic traditions as they adjust to the rigors of adulthood. We have had the blessing of advising and mentoring many youth through their young adult years to see them prosper as leaders of their home and community.

We work with families who face challenges in raising their pre-teen and teenage children with spiritual advice that is relevant to the society that we live in today.

We also work with families that are challenged with cultural and racial differences that have solutions in the 2 main sources in our faith. Our Consultants are not licensed family therapists but we may refer you to licensed professionals who we work closely with in order to ensure that you receive the most comprehensive care possible.

New Imams / Youth Directors

We as Imams and Educators advise and mentor students of knowledge from the United States and Latin America who are returning from their institutions of learning to help them integrate effectively in the communities they live in by offering advice on the challenges they may face regarding employment and methodologies of teaching.

We also assist in networking with other Imams and Educators who may be able to better assist their needs if we are not able to provide certain advice or services.
