Happy Seniors Yearly Trip a Success

#tbt Our Happy Seniors Yearly trip was a success! The beauty of the bus ride, being served tea and pastry’s. It was a joy being around others and socializing. The volunteers and organizers were amazing. Many seniors are not able to travel so this was a wonderful experience for them.

The beautify of the park and food that was served was amazing. Alhumdulillah we were blessed with wonderful weather that allowed the seniors to enjoy walks to the lake and observe the beautiful creations of Allah. We finished the trip by visiting the Clear Lake Islamic center which many have never been to before and were welcomed with much love and warmth. A beautiful community center filled with peace and wonderful community members.

The Happy Seniors program had been taking these yearly trips but the difference this year was that it included other masajid which made the trip much more inclusive of more seniors in our communities. Seniors are deserving of activities and not being forgotten. Some of them are house bound, some of them have no family and are under different circumstances.

The Happy Seniors have instituted different programs to serve the seniors of our community. May Allah bless everyone who has supported and volunteered to make this event a memorable one, with the blessings of Allah.
