Two Shahadas, one beautiful night. SubhanAllah! ❤️
Alhamdulillah! 🤲 Two beautiful souls embraced Islam during our Hispanic Heritage Month collaboration with the Muslim Community Association (MCA) in Santa Clara, California!
At the conclusion of our program, Sister Priscilla took her Shahada after learning about Islam and connecting with the Muslim community. Just minutes later, another sister who had to leave the event unexpectedly reached out through a video call to take her Shahada with Jaime Mujahid Fletcher, Founder & CEO of IslamInSpanish.
She had been slowly learning about Islam, but hearing the keynote “LAZOS: La Cultura Latina y el Islam” helped her recognize the beautiful commonalities between her Latino upbringing and the values taught in Islam. It was the moment she realized that Islam was for her, too.
Two Shahadas, one beautiful night. SubhanAllah! ❤️
¡Dos hermanas aceptaron el Islam durante nuestra visita a MCA! Una de ellas incluso se conectó por videollamada después del evento para declarar su fe.
Un hermoso recordatorio de que Allah guía los corazones de muchas maneras. May Allah strengthen both sisters in their faith and reward everyone who helped make this gathering possible. Ameen! 📖 “Ciertamente, Dios guía a quien Él quiere.” — Corán 28:56
