Sadly, this is the reality for the Muslim community in Cuba, particularly in Santiago de Cuba, where the challenges are immense and support is almost nonexistent.
Currently, their biggest struggles include:

Lack of educational resources
A space to host family events
These challenges impact at least 120 families every single day.
Despite limited resources, the Muslim community in Cuba is determined to persevere. In fact, their population is growing at an incredible rate.
They gather in small cafes, doing their best to stay connected as a community. Despite facing numerous challenges, they remain strong—unwavering in their commitment to their faith, spreading awareness, and keeping the spirit of Islam alive among their people.
