Attention Austin, TX! We are excited to announce that we will be at this years, Annual Open House at Nueces Mosque this Saturday November 2nd at 5:15pm!

Come learn more about the Muslim community and Nueces Mosque, the first mosque in Austin, as well as one of the few student-run mosques in the country!

This year’s theme for Open House is “Who is His Ummah?”. The Arabic word Ummah translates to community, but it holds with it a deeper meaning. It entails a sense of common purpose, transcending boundaries of class, race, culture and language.

Join us as we discuss this topic and bring our community together for insightful conversations, an opportunity to create new bonds, and to showcase the services IslamInSpanish and Nueces Mosque offer to our community.

There will be a panel of great speakers, tours of the mosque, our IslamInSpanish booth with free Spanish dawah material, free personalized Arabic calligraphy, a Women in Islam booth, henna, and finish off with a delicious dinner open to all! We hope to see you all there!
