Nahela Morales 

is a Revert, Mexican-American Muslim, mother of an amazing 11 year old "Andrew", currently living in Houston Texas, USA. Morales, who was born in Mexico City but later moved to California and in her mid-twenties moved to New York where she eventually accepted Islam a few years after 9/11. 

She formally served as the National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator for WhyIslam, a dawah project of ICNA. She is currently the Brand Ambassador and Community Manager for IslamInSpanish a non profit organization who recently inaugurated the First Spanish-Speaking Islamic Center in the US. But Morales' efforts go beyond U.S borders she has led trips to bring Islamic literature, food and clothing to her native Mexico, she also traveled to Sao Paulo, Brazil to convey the message of Islam during the 2014 World Cup. Last summer she led a team of 38 Latinos from Latin America to the first Latino Leadership Program at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. Furthermore, earlier this year sh participated in the first Latina Muslimah Conference in Mexico City and was recently invited to the White House by President Barack Obama to attend the annual Eid Al-Fitr Celebration.
