Mujahid Fletcher visits Colombia in order to Educate the communities who lack Islamic knowledge and have no imams to deliver the IslamInSpanish Multimedia Library, and to film short documentaries that we may bring back to the U.S. in order to express the need in Latin America concerning Islam - the state of those communities - and how we may be able to assist them with the proper educations Spanish material for muslims and non-Muslims.

Organizing Conventions in Latin America

IslamInSpanish has a partner and organizer along with international Latino Muslim communities in countries such as Colombia, Mexico, and others. The topics covered are inclusive of our collective reality in common as new Muslim converts finding Islam and building a new Latino Muslim identity. Whether we are in the United States or in a country in Colombia, as Latinos we are concerned about our Islamic education and that of our children in a healthy and productive manner that will benefit the societies we live in.

Many of the people who are embracing Islam in Latin America lack educational material and IslamInSpanish provides for them the proper material to learn from and share the message of Islam with their family members and friends in their native language. IslamInSpanish also travels with renowned Imams and Shaikhs from North America to Latin America in order to build a sense of familiarity with our culture and situation of our communities and people to bring practical solutions for their social wellbeing and benefit of society as a whole.
